Minus 5 More!!

That is the magic number this past Tuesday to Today!!! Yep, officially at 200 on the nose, I am just about signed out of the 200 club - look out world. Remember I haven't been under 200 for over 5 years.

Yep, great session with Jess today, as he is taking some time off later this week so we got a session in on a Sunday. One more on Tuesday and then no Jess for about a week. But that by no means, means no great workouts. I will still do my cardio and not sure if I will go back to my bands for strength or stick to cardio all week. Hmmm.. extra cardio, that just might ensure my new club level membership!

Later!

Self Talk

So yesterday, Jess was intent on "keeping my cardio up" as he said, but I think he was really just trying to knock me off! :) Anyways, between sets, I had to do the stairclimber or run outside. Funny thing. A few weeks ago I could run around once, and now almost 2 before slowing. Hmmm... But the most amazing part is I found my self talking within myself to keep myself going. Yet these were the same things I found myself saying to myself each night of cardio as I walk the dogs. No, I'm not crazy and talking to myself like that. But instead, it's positive self talk to keep myself going. That wasn't me 3 months ago.

Good cardio today!

Oh yeah, as you can see I added a picture to my profile, it's me a few weeks ago on my trip to WY, in from of Old Faithful. No she wasn't erupting at the time. :(

But as you can see down below, here is me June of 2005 and here is me August 2006 - can you see the difference in my face?

Here I am

Alright, Jess and I measured the other day. from 7/11 to 9/19 I lost a total of 5.75 inches!!! My gosh!!! Now that is just measuring 3 places in the trunk, but I'll take it.....

Kicked my butt the past 2 days at the gym and I am feeling it. Not anywhere near the pain of the initial session, but more aches than usual!

So, tomorrow it's time to get the dogs back on track...

Don't envy me.... join me!!

Love those ROLLS!

Such exciting stuff, I had to email my trainer... here is an excerpt:

So tonight as I went to jump into the shower, I actually passed the mirror and stopped taking more than the 1/18th of a second I normally catch myself in my peripheral vision. Anyways... I realized I have rolls in my mid section. Now, this is in no way a complaint nor a new realization. As 3 months ago I too had rolls, only they all merged together into one huge roll. Now I have separate defined rolls, that are close to gone!!!

And I weighted myself at home tonight and 203#. Not official as the gym scale is my official, but here is to signing out of the 200 club.

Come on, you knew I was over 200... but not for long and as Jess reminds me NEVER again!

Just Routine

So, it's been 3 months and life has become routine. No, I am in no way complaining. Routine is good, but this new routine is even better. I feel good and know I am focused on making the changes necessary for me.

Wow!

So last week while relaxing in Jackson, WY I had a problem. I couldn't keep my bra on. Now this was a nice bra and one I just bought this spring. But, oh well.

Then yesterday I decided I hadn't measured in a while. 2.5" lost in the chest alone. WOW!
2" in the waist, and little losses in the wrists, hip and thighs!!

Cardio happened on all Sat, Sun and Monday.

Really Back!

Alright, I admit it, I took a few days off last week and went to Jackson, WY! It was great. Got a 2 hour horseback ride in the national forest and was NEVER sore. Took the dogs while we toured the Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks! Climb, Hiked, Walked and ate more carbs than I have in months. But the good news! Maintained my weight with no changes. :)

Photos to come once I download them!
